The Mark Brown Trio are a soul-jazz funk ensemble based in Los Angeles.  The outfit is heavily influenced by greats such as Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff and Grant Green.

The trio consists of Eric Carlson (Organ Freeman, Jeff Hershey & The Heartbeats), Julian Ho (Artur Menezes, Pedro Cordeiro) and Mark Brown (The Bridge, Hambone Relay).
