AsAs a jazz pianist, Mark Brown has been performing professionally for over 15 years.  He studied classical and jazz in college and has performed standards and originals both as a soloist and with a jazz ensemble.  He has performed at numerous jazz clubs, restaurants and festivals in Philadelphia, New York and most recently Los Angeles.  In 2013 his solo album "Opus de Funk" was released independently and features classics such as "My Romance", "Willow Weep For Me", "Bye Bye Blackbird" and the title track: Horace Silver's "Opus de Funk".

Hambone Relay

Soul/Jazz Organ Trio

As well as being a jazz pianist, Mark is also an accomplished Hammond B3 player.  He combines the classic jazz styles of Jimmy Smith and Groove Holmes with more modern soul sounds of Grant Green and Soulive.  His trio: Hambone Relay has recorded 4 albums of original material since 2014 and has toured extensively across the United States.  They can also play a blistering set of classic organ jazz, funk and soul.
